Ne….pas (not) Elle ne danse pas.She does not dance. Ne….plus (no longer, no more) Elle ne danse plus. She no longer dances. Ne….jamais (never) Il ne chante jamais. He never sings.

Ne…que/qu (only) Il na que 2 amis. He has only 2 friends. Il na quun crayon. He has only 1 pencil. Ne…rien (nothing, not anything) Je ne veux rien. I dont want anything. Ne…ni…ni (neither…nor) Je ne veux ni danser ni chanter. I dont want to dance nor sing. Elle nest ni active ni énergique. She is neither active nor energetic.
