Typically used for industrial manufacturing applications, but also starting to be used by school, small businesses and hobbyists. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser most commonly through optics. The laser optics and CNC (computer numerical control) are used to direct the material or the laser beam generated. A typical commercial laser for cutting materials would involve a motion control system to follow a CNC or G-code of the pattern to be cut onto the material. The focused laser beam directed at the material, which then either melts, burns, vaporizes away, or is blown away by a jet of gas, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish. This equipment can pose a fire hazard. It must be operated under the supervision of equipment operators. When the equipment operator leaves the seat, you should be sure to shut off the power. The equipment should never be left around flammable substances (alcohol, oil, aerosols, etc.), you should always maintain a clean condition. Please be sure to include a fire extinguisher nearby equipment, a halon fire extinguisher is recommended. The equipment should be operated in the closed cover position. Make sure to operate the equipment only when the chiller is turned on. This equipment uses a high voltage of several tens of kV. Be careful to avoid electric shocks. Absolutely prohibit the repair and disassembly of the user in the event of any equipment malfunction or faulty.
