Those who are in Christ walk according to the Law of the Spirit (1,2) Christ made forgiveness possible (3,4) The Law of the Spirit is followed by those who set their mind on it – (5-8) Dwells – You must be in the Spirit in order for the Spirit to be in you – (9-11) Since they are walking in accordance with the Law of the Spirit – it can rightly be said that the Holy Spirit has a great influence upon how they live their lives! The Holy Spirit controlled their thinking and actions through the law that He delivered, Christians are instructed to let the “Word of Christ dwell in them richly” – Col. 3:16 Although the physical consequences of sin are not avoided by submitting to the Law of the Spirit, the righteousness that is acquired through obedience to the gospel, (Rom. 1:16,17) will bring about victory over death because we will be raised from the dead. (10) Kills – The Deeds of the flesh – (12,13) Serving Christ is our reasonable service – (Romans 12:1,2 . . . By the transforming of our mind) Those who will not submit to the Law of the Spirit – they will die spiritually, eternally, But . . .
