Olympic Games The Olympic Games are played every four years. Every four years there is one Winter Olympics. And every four years, there is one Summer Olympics, too. There is a group of sports called the Olympics. The Olympics is group of many, many games. There are swimming and running, for example. There is also basketball.

SUMMER SPORTS. RRRRunning is a summer sport. Swimming is, also. So is diving. The summer sports are in the Summer Olympics. Jumping is a summer sport. And so is the hammer throw.

WINTER SPORTS. Skating is not a summer sport. It’s a winter sport. So it is part of the Winter Olympics. Skiing is also a winter sport. So are bobsledding and ice hockey.

SUMMER SPORTS. Running is a summer sport. Swimming is, also. So is diving. The summer sports are in the Summer Olympics. Jumping is a summer sport. And so is the hammer throw.
