Roosevelt's birthplace in N.Y.C. Early Life Theodore Roosevelt was born on October 27, 1858. He was born in New York, New York. His father’s name was also Theodore Roosevelt. His mother’s name was Martha Bulloch. He had three siblings named Anna, Elliot, and Corinne. One of his nieces was Eleanor Roosevelt. Theodore was a fifth-cousin and an uncle-in-law to Franklin D. Roosevelt. Roosevelt's birthplace in N.Y.C.

I am young Teddy at eleven years old! Schooling Theodore was schooled at home with private tutors until he went to college. Theodore only went to two schools in his whole life. They were Harvard College and Columbia Law School I am young Teddy at eleven years old!

Marriage Theodore Roosevelt married Alice Hathaway Lee. After his sweet Alice died, which happened to be on the same day as his mother, He married Edith Kermit Carow.
