Trial Notes (Assignment #8): Make a T- Chart Reasons to blame Germany Reasons to blame other countries

Watch the end of the First World War min Label a piece of binder paper Assignment #8: Legacy of WWI film notes What were immediate impacts? How did people view the war immediately after? How did it impact nations and national identity?

Write a reflection about your response to the film and what you have learned about WWI so far from your HW and class work. Use the following questions to get you thinking. You do not have to answer all of them: How did WWI change the way people fought wars? How did it change the way people viewed their national identity? What did the world lose from fighting WWI and what did it gain? Did WWI accomplish anything important? What can WWI tell us about why countries go to war? What do people think will happen and what really does in a war? What does WWI tell you about how the media can influence war? How do people’s views of war change during the course of the war? Be prepared to discuss with the whole class!

WWI - What were the gains for society? What did it destroy?
