MOLLY PITCHER

 MOLLY PITCHER WAS BORN ON OCTOBER NEAR TRENTON NEW, JERSEY. MOLLY’S REAL NAME IS MARY LUDWIG HAYS. SHE DIED IN 1833 IN CARLISLE, PENNSYLVANIA.

 Molly took care of the men that got injured in the war. Once her husband injured she took his place shooting the cannon.

 Molly was a patriot.  She fought against the loyalist in the Revolutionary War.

 Yes, Molly survived the Revolutionary War when she left the war. Once Molly left the war she returned to Carlisle, Pennsylvania and remarried a new man. Molly was honored after the war by receiving the annuity award.

I think that molly pitcher is very brave because she participated in the Revolutionary War. Also because she took her husband’s place at shooting the cannon. Women were not even aloud to vote back then. So for her to fight in war that’s very cool.

 I think Molly Pitcher is brave and caring and generous. Because she joined the Revolution Army and when the soldiers got injured she took care of them. When her husband got injured she took his spot at shooting the cannon.

 She married twice before she died.  She fought in the Revolutionary War.  She cared for the injured soldiers in her husbands army.  She was awarded an annuity award.

 Thank you for watching our presentation.
