When the attack started The attack started on the morning of December 7, 1941.

Why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor Japan attacked Pearl Harbor because President Roosevelt stopped trading with Japan. The U.S. made a law stopping oil trade to Japan because Japan was invading China.

How it happened Japan used two aerial attack waves and in all was 353 aircraft that launched from six Japanese aircraft carriers. Aircraft carriers are huge ships that carry planes.

Weapons Japan used Aircraft with bombs, torpedoes, guns, poison gases, tanks barricades, rockets, and grenades. U.S. (Pearl Harbor) used rocks, pistols, anti-aircraft weapons and airplanes.
