What is a CTE Pathway? Pathway Career Field Course A pathway program prepares students for a range of careers for one or more industry sectors within a career cluster. It includes a sequence of rigorous academic and career-technical courses, commencing as early as the 7 th grade and leads to a college degree, an industry recognized certificate and/or licensure. Prepares students for job opportunities after high school and provides opportunities to enter and succeed in postsecondary and continuing education programs.
