Higher Level Scheme Part of Natural England’s Environmental Stewardship Scheme Other parts are the Entry Level Scheme and Organic Entry Level Scheme Main objectives are: Wildlife conservation and natural resource protection Maintenance and enhancement of landscape character Protection of the historic environment; and Promotion of public access and understanding of the countryside
