Budgeting—Design Grants Districts will work with their coach in developing their budgets A majority of grant dollars should be spent on supporting time for blueprint planning, research and discussion

Budgeting—Design Grants Preliminary budget due: January 15, 2014 Districts who choose to apply for an implementation grant may have their budgets reviewed for efficiencies as part of the application process

Design Districts Working in Consortia Consortia forms an “umbrella” advisory council whose membership consists of individuals from all districts, consisting of administrators and teachers Each district should provide 2-5 members, depending on its capacity This group will meet to lay the foundation in the overarching principles of the work

Design Districts Working in Consortia Each district will then form its own leadership team, with a coach assigned to each district Districts may decide to team with other districts inside the consortia Districts may then rely on the wisdom of the larger group while still having the opportunity to address their unique circumstances

Contractor Support Contract being finalized to support data collection and analysis
