Location of Coral Reefs and Tropical Oceans The Tropical Oceans and Coral Reefs are in Central America, Jamaica, the eastern side of Madagascar, the northern tip of Africa and the middle. They are also in the northwestern tip of Australia. But don’t forget the southern part of India and the Islands just off the coast.

Landforms in the Coral Reefs and Tropical Oceans Some of the landforms in and around the tropical oceans and coral reefs are the giant boulders that the coral reefs grow on. Some other ones are the the Islands around the Oceans like,Jamaica. There are also some Continents like Mexico and India! Don’t forget about the down under Australia! I got this picture at

Animals found in the Coral Reefs and Tropical Oceans Some of the animals in the Tropical Oceans and Coral Reefs are clownfish (yes that’s Nemo!) There are all types of coral, seafan coral, dwarf coral, lettuce coral AND MORE! Thousands of species of fish like moorish idols. Sea stars are awesome! So are the octopuses. Plus seaturtles like to hang around there! I go this picture at

Plants found in the Coral Reefs and Tropical Reefs Some of the plants on the Islands near the Tropical Oceans are, seaweed, epithetic orchids and even cacti. Some of the plants even eat small mice!

The climate of the tropical oceans and coral reefs If you like cooler weather come on down! The temperature starts as low as 70 degrees and goes up to 85 degrees! It is awesome weather down there! So Don’t wait come today!

Tour de biome questions 1. Why do only tropical plants live there? Well the answer is that tropical plants grow where the weather is warmer. If an evergreen tree was to be planted, if wouldn’t survive because it needs some coldness, if the weather is only warm it wouldn’t make it. 2. Is the water dark? The water does get dark as you go towards the bottom of the ocean. There are totally different fish that live down there.

How water effects tropical oceans and coral reefs The water effects the tropical oceans and coral reefs because without the water they would not exist! Water is the center of the way that the animals and plants live.
