Water Bottle Free Day DITCH THE PLASTIC FOR BOTTLED WATER FREE DAY!!

Bottled water free day is a day devoted to avoiding bottled water and using tap water instead.

Water is a Human Right There are over 880 million people world wide who lacks access to clean water, drinkable water, resulting to the death of more than 2 million people each year.

What are Plastic Water Bottles? We use oil to make plastic water bottles it takes 3 litre of oil to produce 1 litre of bottled water

Tap Water vs.. Bottled Water Tap water is safer than bottled water Tap water is tested for bacteria every 4 hours each day Bottled water plants however only requires once every 3 years

Where do Plastic Water Bottles go? Plastic bottles usually end up in a landfill though they are recyclable the majority ends up in the trash.

When, Where, How On December 14 th our school will be attending a water bottle free day. We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle rather than a plastic water bottle The water bottle free day will be happening throughout the whole day in your classrooms
