Organization: Thesis: The author uses figurative language, tone, and structure to reinforce her point of not dwelling on the idea of death. TS1: The Isolated tone shows how her dwelling on the funeral is keeping her from being happy. TS2: The shift in the last quatrain moves the focus of the poem to the outcome of her dwelling on death.
Literally a funeral in her brain All in her head Not sure if it is her funeral or someone else’s Mourners everywhere Poem ends abruptly with her falling down into another world
