Training Objectives 4 Allow trainees to develop teaching capability within a ‘safe’ environment (but at same time encourage them to gradually step out of their comfort zone) 4 Deliver a sound understanding of pupils and learning 4 Allow time to review and share experiences and good practice (as a whole group) 4 Train mentors to ensure a consistent approach 4 NB Programme runs continually throughout block practice
