MAIN RESULTS: 1.Description of the provisional WORLD ESPON 2013 DATABASE 2.Overview and description of a sample of world databases 3.Comparison between world databases and Eurostat databases: preliminary results. WORLD DICTIONARY OF UNITS

1. Description of the provisional WORLD ESPON 2013 DATABASE The database can be subdivided into two main components: References tables including country subdivisions and regional/thematic aggregations used by global providers and Eurostat The Indicators including the data sensu stricto with global extent, mainly from International organizations and data provided by Eurostat, which cover the European region.

3. Comparison between world databases and Eurostat databases: preliminary results.
