What’s cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is the repeated intentional malicious taunts, abuse, threats and harassment, using technology such as mobile phones (texting) or the internet (social media networking sites)

What to do if you think you’re a victim of cyberbullying Don’t reply; this may make things worse and, you too can be labelled a ‘cyberbully’ Do not delete any messages; these can be used a ‘proof’ Report the cyberbully; ‘block’ them and inform the site administrator

What to do if you think you’re a victim of cyberbullying NEVER agree to meet them in person, particularly if you don’t know them, inform your parents, teacher or an adult you trust, especially they become persistent You must inform the Police if your safety and security is at risk Remember you can report cyberbullying in School; the School will have a policy and procedure to cover such incidents
