- Decisions - Ownership - Standards - Enjoyment - Technique - Attacking The Woodbury Way Play – To Goal -Split the players onto two teams -Play 3v3 to start and play no larger then 5v5 with a few subs if necessary. Make sure to adjust the field a little more space is better then too small -Have a pile of balls near each end line when you run out of balls go collect -Goals are scored passing thru cone goal KEYS Look for opportunities to shoot Can players shoot on the move?

- Decisions - Ownership - Standards - Enjoyment - Technique - Attacking The Woodbury Way Activity 1 – Dribbling Gates -Every player on a ball -Players will have short rounds to dribble thru as many gates as possible have 2 more gates then players -Challenge players with different ways to get thru or interact with gate -Dribble thru -Dribble thru and pull back -Make move thru gate -Have players keep score and keep it self referenced -Beat your own score by two, three, x KEYS Be quick How do have to dribble the ball if you want to be fast Body shape players must stay low and be explosive

- Decisions - Ownership - Standards - Enjoyment - Technique - Attacking The Woodbury Way Activity 2 – Pick and Play -2 Teams keep score -Not so good team has quick fun penalty -Ball gets played out and players need to get to the ball and then pick goal to attack -Once on ball decides goal they are attacking the other player is going in the other direction -Ball goes out of play switch players in middle -Play quickly KEYS Explode to the ball With first touch can play get ball moving towards the goal they are going to attack Read the game – if you can’t win ball what angle do you need to take to cut the attacker off Once attacker has ball and can they dribble across defender to get them on their back

- Decisions - Ownership - Standards - Enjoyment - Technique - Attacking The Woodbury Way Activity 3 – Play -Split the players onto two teams -Play 3v3 to start and play no larger then 5v5 with a few subs if necessary. Make sure to adjust the field a little more space is better then too small -Have a pile of balls near each end line when you run out of balls go collect -One team could play to goal w/sweeper/GK KEYS Effort is number 1 priority if effort is not sufficient pull player out and have them watch until the are ready to give effort Willingness to Defend and Attack Look for opportunities to shoot
