Presentation transcript:

Dear diary, The world is watching me today. I’m so terrified and happy at the same time, because if the spaceship doesn’t brake down I will be the first person to step foot on the moon. The countdown was starting,5,4,3,2,1 then the engine started it was the noisiest thing I had ever heard like a million explosions all happening at once then we took of it was the quickest thing in the world. Next thing we were in space. My feelings right now are trepidation and fear. Who knows what could be out there?

Dear dairy, We are going in to space know I am scared and excited at the same time and so are the crew,I can’t wait to get to the moon.

Dear diary, Even though we are 300 miles away, it feels like I could reach out the moon! I bet nobody in the world will be feeling what I’m feeling right now. The lads and I have had a little chat and have decided I should step foot on the moon.

Dear diary, I am looking at the moon, we are nearly there now. We are about 550 miles away now the feeling is out of this world it is the best time of my life; I feel like I could just cry for joy !!! It is the best time of my life.

Dear diary, We have landed on the moon, now I am so bubbly I am going to be the very first man to step foot on the moon it is one small step for man one giant leap for man mind. I think this will change the world for ever.

Dear diary, The space door has just opened, I’m about seven steps away from the moon I have a clear view of it now. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I have just stepped foot on the moon it is so gravelly this is one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind! I have just stabbed the American flag into the gravel!

Dear diary, We are entering the earths atmosphere we are going over 300 miles per hour the shuttle is setting on fire, it’s so exhilarating I am glad I accepted to go to the moon.

Wow! We are in a big glass container the president it is called quarantine we have to go in because we might have picked up a moon bug let’s hope I havent!!!

It is 37 years on and I feel like it was just yesterday and I wish I could go there again it, was the best time of my life!!!
