Research Opportunities Workshop / Bucharest RAILROAD PROJECTS ATS (Automatic Train Stopping) systems and signal receiving magnets for locomotives operating on the Turkish Railroads. These originally designed and patented units manufactured by our company using mostly domestic supplies.

Research Opportunities Workshop / Bucharest DE DE DMU IZBANE YHT

Research Opportunities Workshop / Bucharest HIGHWAY TUNNELS PROJECTS SAVRONIK is the main contractor to design and built an electronic system for TCK’s (State Highway Authority) –Aydın-İzmir Highway Karsıyaka Tunnels –Mekece Tunnels (btw. İstanbul ans Eskisehir) – THIRRA Tunnels, Albenia –These projects include: Signalization Fire systems Lightening Electrification Ventilation Central Communication System Telephony & Radio Communications System Control HW and SW (PLC/Scada)

SAFE and OPTIMUM DRIVING Traffic safety in roads and railroads is very important for both pedestrians and vehicles. It is clearly related to drivers' behaviors and urban traffic conditions. We can use the information and communication technologies (ICT) to improve the traffic safety and to optimize the driving. If interaction between drivers and vehicle monitor remotely and analyse real-time when driving we can increase traffic safety by some early warnings and emergency intervention.

SAFE and OPTIMUM DRIVING We need several sensors and transducers installed on the vehicle in order to collect real- time driving parameters. By using this data we can analyze and define stability, driver and vehicle behavior, energy consumption, and safety of all traffic participants.

SAFE and OPTIMUM DRIVING By using of such a system for road and rail vehicles can be; –maximized of braking potential –reduced of the stopping distance –optimized of fuel consumption –measured engine emission –measured drivers success – determined moment of vehicles collisions and traffic congestion –prevent vehicles collisions and traffic congestion

SAFE and OPTIMUM DRIVING Who needs this system; Municipalities (e.g, IETT (Istanbul)) All car drivers Train and light rail operators (Tram, metro, etc) Metrobuses Taxis etc.

The End Thank you very much for your attention… Tamer KARAKURT
