Why did the shepherds leave their sheep in the night? Why did just the shepherds hear the angel's song? We're children anointed, his prophets are we Gathered here together to meet HIM that way: in bread and wine, and in you and me. Why did the kings leave their splendid castles? Why did the kings follow a wandering star?

Welcome to Mother Teresa Exhibition Life, spirit and message Created for Mother Teresa beatification in October 2003, this exhibition has been set up in Cologne to allow young people to discover better Blessed Teresa and her charism. Many are they who came to visit it even late in the evening. Many young people left there their intentions of prayers. The exhibition visit was ending at the back of the church, inviting for a thanksgiving time in front of the Blessed Sacrament or to meditate with Him on the example of the wonderful life Mother Teresa has given us.

“World Youth Day” Opening Mass in Cologne During the week, the Missionaries of Charity went to meet the pilgrims in big groups. They were opportunities for beautiful encounters and for the young people to exchange their pins for the Sisters’ pictures, postcards, and other multi-coloured rosaries !!!

Here is a medal for you, another for your mother, one for your grand- father, one for the neighbour... and then, a handful for all your friends !!!

Delightful to be among all these young people Shouting out their joy to be together and moving their multi coloured flags !

I came so that they might have life and have it in abundance. John 10, 10

Who said that some pilgrim went back from Cologne without a medal or one of Mother Teresa prayer ?

In the Streets of Cologne During the week, the Missionaries of Charity went also in the streets around the church to meet the young people and invite them to come and pray together. There, it is with a big smile that they approached them with bags full of pictures.

A Sister speaking with her hands? Blue hats? Don’t search for any longer... an Italian Sister has just met Italian pilgrims!!! So many things to say...

Holy cards are not given only to pilgrims...

Cologne Cathedral Notice the Magi relics in the background. This beautiful encounter with a Spanish family will be the opportunity to confide their sick baby to the intercession of Mother Teresa.

Other town, other encounters In Düsseldorf too an other spiritual center was entrusted to the Missionaries of Charity In St Lambertus church.

Welcome of Pope Benedict XVI - Cologne Cathedral - August 18th "Today it is your task to live and breathe the Church’s universality. Let yourselves be inflamed by the fire of the Spirit, so that a new Pentecost will renew your hearts."

Gathering of the Pilgrims at Marienfeld, August
