Ten Easy Steps to Successful Dissection

 Dissection kit  Scissors, scalpel(optional), straight needle, tweezers, T pins

 One Grape  Dissection pan

 Use scissors to make a slit in the grape

 Gently scrape and detach the flesh from the skin.

 Carefully peel the skin back

 Continue peeling until the skin is flat against the tray

 Pin the skin to the tray.

 Carefully slit the flesh of the grape

 Carefully locate the seeds  Carefully remove the seeds.

 Clean Up!  Throw away garbage!

 Clean and return all supplies.

 Finish your lab report: ◦ Fill in all of the data, draw diagrams, write conclusions. ◦ Compare and share information with your lab partners Lab Report
