Editorial Board: We created an editorial board within the exec. Started with Scott Holliday as our project leader – as he transitioned to ACGME, Sandi took over as project leader. Shared ideas, started with concepts, then organized into chapters, then defined sub-chapters, then described objectives for each sub-chapter. Then looked at as a group to see where overlap was, and where the overlap was needed and where it was redundant and we should “pick” where that content belonged. Some struggle with how much “med-peds perspective only” and how much start from the beginning. As wil all things med-peds – the question exists – what do we “borrow” from the categoricals, and what to we need to create, and sometimes even re-create de-novo. Here are the chapters and subsequently the sub-chapters we came up with:
