Values Your values are the things that you believe are important in the way you live and work What job should I pursue? Should I accept this promotion? Should I start my own business? Should I compromise, or be firm with my position? Should I follow tradition, or travel down a new path?

Personal Values Set of personal principles, standards, concepts, beliefs, and ideas that are of importance to you and can be used to make everyday decisions. Personal values develop from circumstances surrounding us, and can change over time.

Cultural Values Groups, societies, or cultures have values that are largely shared by their members. The values identify those objects, conditions or characteristics that members of the society consider important; that is, valuable.
