There is a redeemer

There is a Redeemer, Jesus, God’s own Son, Precious Lamb of God, Messiah, Holy one. Thank you, O our Father for giving us your Son, And leaving your spirit till your work on earth is done.

Jesus, my Redeemer, Name above all names, Precious Lamb of God, Messiah O for sinners slain. Thank you, O our Father for giving us your Son, And leaving your spirit till your work on earth is done.

When I stand in glory, I will see His face, And there I’ll serve my King forever, In that holy place. Thank you, O our Father for giving us your Son, And leaving your spirit till your work on earth is done.

Prayer of PRAISE

The Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried.

He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty, from thence he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

We have come before our God in prayer, confessing our sin We have come before our God in prayer, confessing our sin. We have worshipped our God in song and we have read the Bible together and heard what God is saying to us today. Now we have the privilege and opportunity to respond to all that God has revealed to us and given to us.

To God be the glory, great things he has done! So loved he the world that he gave us his Son, Who yielded his life an atonement for sin, And opened the life-gate that all may go in!

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear his voice! Let the people rejoice! O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son, And give him the glory, great things he has done!

O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, To every believer the promise of God! And every offender who truly believes, That moment from Jesus a pardon receives:

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear his voice! Let the people rejoice! O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son, And give him the glory, great things he has done!

Great things he has taught us, great things he has done, And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son; But purer, and higher, and greater will be Our wonder, our rapture, when Jesus we see:

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear his voice! Let the people rejoice! O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son, And give him the glory, great things he has done!

OFFERTORY PRAYER Let us pray. God, you are calling us to a deeper prayer life. Help us to see beyond the borders of our community to the needs of all in the world. Use and bless these gifts to bring your hope and love to all who are in need. Bless your church that we might learn how to create a new and different world in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Prayer of the Church

Silent reflection

C: We lift them to the Lord. P: Let us give thanks to Holy Communion P: The Lord be with you C: And also with you. P: Lift up your hearts. C: We lift them to the Lord. P: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. C: It is right to give our thanks and praise.

Holy Communion It is indeed right and good, Lord God, holy Father, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks to you, through Jesus Christ our Lord. You have revealed your glorious presence to us in a new way through the mystery of the Word made flesh, so that as we see you in your Son, we are drawn to love you whom we cannot see.

C: Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might, Holy Communion And so, with angels and archangels, and with all the company of heaven, we adore and praise your glorious name: C: Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

The Lord’s Prayer Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen.

Here I am, Lord (296) 1. I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry. All who dwell in dark and sin my hand will save. I who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright. Who will bear my light on them? Whom shall I send?

Here I am, Lord; is it I, Lord Here I am, Lord; is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night; I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.

2. I, the Lord of snow and rain, I have borne my people’s pain 2. I, the Lord of snow and rain, I have borne my people’s pain. I have wept for love of them. They turn away. I will break their hearts of stone, Give them hearts for love alone. I will speak my word to them. Whom shall I send?

Here I am, Lord; is it I, Lord Here I am, Lord; is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night; I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.

3. I, the Lord of wind and flame, I will tend the poor and lame 3. I, the Lord of wind and flame, I will tend the poor and lame. I will set a feast for them. My hand will save. Finest bread I will provide Till their hearts are satisfied. I will give my life to them. Whom shall I send?
