The Youth Justice Advisory Council Assigns the task of developing a “3-Year-Plan” that is submitted to the federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in application for Formula Grant funding.

Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (2002) Supports state and local programs In effort to prevent juvenile acts Assists in promoting public safety in the community to be aware of Juvenile functions Provides assistance in addressing juvenile crime through the provision of technical assistance, research, training, evaluation, and the absorbing of information for juveniles with productive programs.
