Farm House Plants

Holly Likes north or east sides of buildings since it thrives in shade. Produces red berries when male and female plants are present or on the same plant. Keeps leaves all winter long and does not lose them. Needs to be watered daily when first planted. After a few months will be fine when it rains.

Azalea Does not lose leaves. Like the north and east sides Bright colorful flowers that can be pink, purple, red, and white. They like soil that is very organic. They can turn colors with addition or subtraction of pH.

Fire Chief Arborvitae Keep leaves all seasons of the year. Have a dead zone They are not broad leafed They are drought tolerant after well established. Sun to partial shade.
