 Ticks can carry a lot of infection. One infection is Lyme disease. People can pick up ticks while hiking and camping.

 Have kids dress in long sleeved shirts.

 If you see a red bump with a red ring around it that’s a sign of Lyme disease.

 Use insect repellant with DEET.

 Have your kids check for ticks bites at the end of each day.

 Don’t have your kids feed wild animals.

 Go to the doctor if the tick is on you more than 24 hours.
