Linkages between Ghana - NRDS and other Development Strategies Ghana, among 12 Sub-Saharan CARD Priority Countries, expects to benefit from IFAD Small Grant Project which seeks to Link Rice Value Chains Development with the Growth and Poverty Reduction Processes in Africa. Ghana has submitted names and CV’s of two proposed Consultants for review and selection of suitable candidate to integrate NRDS with national FASDEP II policy document

Future Steps Following launching and implementation of the Ghana-NRDS, lessons will be learnt to: –improve quality of implementation, –review key sub-sectors for intervention, –take steps to improve conformity of Ghana- NRDS with FASDEP II and –pursue demand for more investment assistance from both government and development partners
