Heat Transfer What is Heat Transfer? How many types of heat transfer are there, and what are they?

Heat Transfer Heat Transfer is the process of heat moving from a warmer area or object to a cooler area or object. There are three types of heat transfer: Conduction, convection, and radiation

Conduction What is conduction?  The transfer of heat from a warmer object to a cooler one through direct contact

Convection What is convection? The transfer in liquids or gas as a result of the movement of the liquid or gas.

Radiation What is radiation? The transfer of heat through electromagnetic waves in empty space.
