Basic Beliefs  Believe you excel or fail with the consent of your chi  Believe they can achieve the impossible as long as his chi does not accept defeat  He believes he can build a rocket if he works hard and his chi approves his efforts

Importance  Demonstrated by the frequency with which it appears in Nigerian names  Incorporated into the name of the supreme God Chukwu  “Chi Ukwo” or “Great Chi”
