A Cost-effective Wind Turbine for the Present and Future The newcomer to the field, WinWinD, has created a WWD wind turbine, which offers the most cost-effective production throughout its total life, combined with the lowest operating costs.

History of WinWinD 1998-99 The development of the new wind turbine concept started together with ABB (Finland) and Metso Drives 2000 The company WinWinD was founded 2001 Pilot plant (1 MW) was taken into use 2002 Industrial production started 2002-03 Multi-megawatt turbine development and a pilot plant (3 MW).

Case: Oulu Energy 1 MW wind turbine, WWD-1 Operational in Oulu, Finland. Since autumn 2001. Excellent results have been achieved.
