CREATIVITY WITH CHILDREN: GUIDING THEM TO EXPLORE AND DEVELOP APPRECIATION OF THE WORLD THEY LIVE IN AN EXPOSITION OF MS. GOLDBERG’S TEACHING STYLE

Developing my own creativity (with music, theater and other art forms) inspires me to nourish the creativity of children in the classroom Some Enchanted Evening Victorian Singers P.G. Wodehouse Garden Party

Electric go-cart made by my students, using all recycled parts, and their teacher enjoys the first ride on the finished product! CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY

The students demonstrate their vehicle at a local Honda dealership

Exploring the similarities and differences between their go-cart and a Honda electric engine

We go for a hike in the Cascade Mountains… The other end of the spectrum: learning about biology and the wonders of nature

…where it is easy to feel both humbled by the majestic wilderness and at the same time king of the mountain!

What greater ecstasy can their be than cavorting through a tulip field in the Spring?!

Being with the chickens helped the children develop feelings of love, connection with other species and a sense of responsibility as they learned to care for their feathered friends And then, of course, there is the wonder and delight of the animals…

Creative play can happen with chickens as well!

The children of the Living Wisdom School (K-6) created all of the art for a show in a local bookstore; my class then learned methods of creative design as they put it all together in a phenomenal display… Art for art’s sake… always an avenue for great expression and joy!

Oh, the pride of the finished product!

The importance of music— singing, and playing a musical instrument… And finally there is….

Physical activity, cooperative play and agility….

The fun, humor and general delight of being a teacher in the company of our youth!

THE END!
