Max’s Science Project (Football) System’s used for football

Muscular The muscular system is an organ system. It permits movement of the body, maintains posture, and circulates blood throughout the body. There are three distinct types of muscles: skeletal muscles, cardiac or heart muscles, and smooth (non-striated) muscles. Muscles provide strength, balance, posture, movement and heat for the body to keep warm. In football you use almost all of your muscles. You use your arms for running and catching. You use your core to stay upright when you get hit. You also use your legs to run and jump.

The skeletal system is very important because it helps keep all of your organs in place and protect them. It also helps protect the soft tissue that the body is made of. Skeletal You use your skeletal system in football because if you got hit by someone and your rib cage wasn’t protecting your vital organs you could damage them forever. Even though you have padding it would still really be dangerous.

Immune The immune system is a system of biological structures and processes within an organism that protects against disease. If you have healthy immune system it can help you stay healthy so you can always play with out worrying about being sick. When you are sick and you still are playing it can affect your performance and make you get fired or get paid less.

Nervous The nervous system is the part of an animal's body that coordinates its voluntary and involuntary actions and transmits signals between different parts of its body. Your nervous system is really important because without it if you broke or hurt something without a nervous system you wouldn’t be able to feel the pain and if you hurt something that without immediate medical attention it could be dangerous, it could be very serious, you could die or be damaged forever.

The purpose of the digestive system is to allow us to enjoy and absorb food. It also helps absorbs waste in the body. In football if you eat too much food before a game you could throw up and then not want to play. You should also eat healthy food with lots of protein so you can get stronger and play way better. Having a healthy diet when you play can really effect your body and performance in a positive way. Digestive

The respiratory system is a system in the body that takes in oxygen and replaces it with carbon dioxide when you breathe. The respiratory system is one of the most important system to have for football or any sport because this system allows you to breathe. If you can breathe easily you can helps you run for greater lengths and much faster. If you can run fast you could be a great slot receiver or running back. Respiratory!!!!

The circulatory system, also called the cardiovascular system, is an organ system that permits blood to circulate and transport nutrients (such as amino acids and electrolytes), oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones, and blood cells to and from cells in the body to nourish it and help to fight diseases. When you are playing football your heart and your blood starts pumping really fast and if you don’t have a strong circulatory system you could pass out. Also you could feel light headed when you are playing so then you can’t give it your all on every down and that would make your coach mad at you. circulatory
