Students study the Scientific Method as they learn about the lives of sand crabs, come up with a study question, and take sample data to answer their question. Sand Crab Population Surveys

Who are the instructors? Camp SEA Lab Naturalists… … are hired based on their experience with students in informal educational settings and in marine science … have current CPR/First Aid certifications, have passed fingerprint checks, and are trained on program safety policies … deliver meaningful lessons for each class and student … demonstrate the desire to share their love of the natural world to inspire new generations! Coastal weather is highly unpredictable. We recommend bringing a waterproof jacket and clothes that can be worn in layers. We hike rain or shine! When packing, remember to keep it light. Your child will have to carry whatever they bring. We suggest labeling items with your child’s name. Lunch for the 1st day 1 sleeping bag & pillow 1 pair pajamas 1 pair closed-toe shoes 1 pair sandals or water shoes 3 pairs pants, shorts, or sweats 1-2 jackets, sweaters, or sweatshirts 1 rain jacket or poncho 4 shirts 4 pairs underwear and socks 1 plastic bag for dirty clothes 1 bottle for water 1 toilet kit to include: sunscreen, comb/brush, towel, shampoo, toothbrush & toothpaste, soap & deodorant Camera and film (optional) Don’t worry, you will receive this information from your child’s teacher Coastal weather is highly unpredictable. We hold high, but not unattainable expectations for participation and behavior by all students. Please take a moment to discuss the following expectations with your child prior to camp.
