2 MINUTE PEARLS Copy Forward Function The Copy Forward function of AHLTA is a valuable time saver that easily brings information from a previous encounter forward to your current encounter eliminating need to reenter duplicate information. The information that is carried forward includes bullets from the S/O portion of the note as well as items from the A/P module including diagnoses, procedures, orders, and other therapies. This function works best for patients involved in serial visits for the same problem (i.e. post procedure visits, chronic wound care visits, obstetrical visits, chronic disease follow up, etc…) where similar clinical items need to be documented. 2 Minute Pearls AHLTA Copy Forward
