Schneider Electric 3 Colombia - EE Team Formation ●Pilot: ● Cesar Cabrera (Quality Manager). ●Team members ● Germán Morales (HSE Manager). ● Carlos Felipe Salcedo (Energy Efficiency Engineer). ●Carlos G. Rodríguez (Commercial Manager PMC). ● Orlando Numpaque (Project Manager).

Schneider Electric 4 Colombia - EE Energy Breakdown ( Electricity and Water Consumption )

Schneider Electric 5 Colombia - EE Energy Breakdown ( Electricity and Water Consumption )

Schneider Electric 6 Colombia - EE KPI’s (Electricity Consumption and Water Consumption) ●KPI’s 2007:0,58 Kwh/employee 2008:0,52 Kwh/employee (target). This target is 10% less than the real consumption of Electricity Consumption ●KPI’s 2007:933 m3/employee 2008:657 m3/employee (target). Our Target to 2008 is Keeping our consumption of Water Consumption

Schneider Electric 7 Colombia - EE 2008 Our KPI’s until Now:

Schneider Electric 8 Colombia - EE 2008 Our KPI’s until Now:

Schneider Electric 9 Colombia - EE Actions Done ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION. YEAR ● Painting with white colors the walls. ● Capacitor Bank installation. ● Ensure that the lights and computers are turned off at the end of last shift. ● Develop the awareness regarding the electricity consumption through the Environmental Campaign (Stage 1). ● Electricity consumption monitoring (environmental watcher).

Schneider Electric 10 Colombia - EE Actions Done YEAR ●Develop the awareness regarding the electricity consumption through the Environmental Campaign (Stage 2) and the Health, Safety and Environment video. ●Replacement part of the compressed Air System (compressors and connectors). YEAR ●Develop the awareness regarding the electricity consumption through the Energy Efficiency Campaign. ●Installation of Meters for zones.

Schneider Electric 11 Colombia - EE 2008 WATER CONSUMPTION: YEAR ● Installation of "PUSH" system at water sources. ● Installation of efficiency toilets. ● Change damaged toilets. ● Quick Corrective actions to eliminate wastes of water, and ensure that doesn't exist water leaks. ● Develop the awareness regarding the water consumption through the Environmental Campaign (Stage 1). ● Water consumption monitoring (environmental watcher). YEAR ● Develop the awareness regarding the water consumption through the Environmental Campaign (Stage 2) and the Health, Safety and Environment video. 4. Actions Done Cont.

Schneider Electric 12 Colombia - EE 2008 Instalation of "PUSH" system at water sources

Schneider Electric 13 Colombia - EE Actions propose stage 2 ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION: ● Replacement the current lighting system to another system more efficient.( it depend of other decisions due 21% of Building area belong to Schneider) ● Looking for new sources of save of electricity through a Electrical Audit.

Schneider Electric 14 Colombia - EE Payback Actions done and under consideration (financial and saving terms) We have decided to postpone the lighting due a high probability to change of building during next year.

Schneider Electric 15 Colombia - EE 2008 Measure and Controlling

Schneider Electric 16 Colombia - EE 2008 Measure and Controlling

Schneider Electric 17 Colombia - EE 2008 Energy Efficiency Advantajes « ION Enterprise 5.6 » ●Integration of several energy to the system, including measurements of energy, water, gas, among others. ●Evaluators in line with the Power Quality supplied to us, according to different standards such as IEC Class A, EN50160, IEEE 519, among others. ●100% compatibility with our measuring equipment, protective systems, control and in general our whole range of equipment offered on the market. ●Knowledge management system and by our staff. ●Generation and transmission of reports by online, in different formats. ●Ability to perform remote and automatic control of our bank of capacitors or breakers, according to the conditions of the electrical system.

Schneider Electric 18 Colombia - EE 2008 Energy Efficiency Advantajes « ION Enterprise 5.6 » ●Interoperability with our software packages across process control system OPC, ODBC environment under windows and PQDIF formats. ●Multi-user access to customized graphical views of system diagrams, real-time and historical data, status indicators and alarm messages. ●Multi-level security. ●The software includes sophisticated load aggregation and arithmetic calculation. ●Web-enabled access gives each user a personalized view to timely, relevant information. ●It helps you study historical trends to reveal energy waste or unused capacity as well as verify efficiency improvements and allocate costs to building, department or process.

Schneider Electric 20 Colombia - EE Environmental Campaign Stage 1. In the first stage of our “Environmental Campaign” we did a strong work with the internal community (employees). We started asking about their environmental dream, after, we did an invitation to select waste at source through the awareness that makes the placement of pictures of their children in the containers available for that purpose.

Schneider Electric 22 Colombia - EE Environmental Campaign Stage. First Stage. Environmental Campaign Flash No. 1. Flash No. 2. Second Stage. Environmental Campaign Screen Saver No. 1. Screen Saver No. 2. Screen Saver No. 3. For the second stage of our “Environmental Campaign” we wanted going beyond the green rules. Through screen savers of computers, we think in the posibility to do strong the awareness that we create in the first stage, and try that the internal community do simple things like select waste at source but in each one of our homes.

Schneider Electric 23 Colombia - EE 2008 Campaign of Energy Efficiency.

Schneider Electric 24 Colombia - EE 2008 Campaign of Energy Efficiency. ●We knows that one of the main sources of energy consuption is the ilumination, and for it, we design a special campaign of “Energy Efficiency” that is looking for “Make the most of our energy” and only spend what we need. Image shared through plasmas screens
