 Born / Died Warren Gamalie Harding was born on November 2, 1865 at Bloomington Grove, Ohio. Warren G Harding died August 2, 1923 in San Francisco.

 Early Life Warren had four sisters and one brother. When Warren was 10 his family moved to a Ohio village called Caledonia. He went to school at Ohio Central College in Iberia. When he was little he worked on a farm.

 Professional Life Warren was a editor/publisher and a Baptist in Ohio.

 Political Journey He was a republican Warren was in the Ohio State Senate. He was a U.S senator in 1914 and Lieutenant-Governor of Ohio.

 Known for as President President Warren was agreed to be the worst president in American history. People made rumors that Warren had black ancestors. Warren held a scandal as president called the Tea Pot Dome Scandal.

 Key Events during Presidency Congress limited immigration. Coal-mine strike erupted in violence leaving 36 people dead. Lincoln memorial dedicated in Washington, D.C. Peace between Austria and Germany declared.

 Other Interesting Facts Harding’s election was the first election that women could vote in. He was the first president to visit Alaska. He was the first president to ride in a car to his inauguration. Warren gave his speech at his inauguration through a new invention called the megaphone. Warren’s nick name is Winnie.
