FORWARDING RATES Due to the unpredictable nature of forwarding, rates obtained from shipping lines, road haulers, rail authorities and airlines, it is difficult to quote rates with accurate precision, hence our predilection to submit quotations against specific enquiries in an effort to minimize variances. CUSTOMS CLEARING RATES As an agent, we have direct control and influence of customs clearance charges, hence our offer of the preferential tariff, which could be further negotiated as volumes increase significantly.

Moved to Casalee Cargo in 1984 as Airfreight Exports Manager. Appointed Operations Manager in 1986. 1988 appointed Operations Manager for international shipping company (AMI) headquartered in Belgium. Rejoined Casalee in 1990 as Operations Director. With the acquisition of the Casalee group by Manica, co founded Freight World as a subsidiary of TSL. Led and negotiated the MBO of Freight World from TSL group.

FELIX NYARUWANGA (MANAGING DIRECTOR) Graduated from the University of Zimbabwe in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies Honors. Has been in the customs clearing and shipping industry for 16 years. Worked for the department of Customs and Excise for 3 years as senior examinations officer before joining the private sector. Has been with Freight World for 10 years rising through the ranks from Imports Controller to Operations Director in 2004.
