How can I support my child at home? Make counting a part of your day Play games which use a dice Have a set of number cards at home Make patterns Count the stairs as you go up them. How many socks come out of the washing machine? How many plates do we need for dinner? How many people at the bus stop? Put them in order (forwards/backwards) Flashcards What card comes next? Matching Pairs Pick a card and count out that many objects (pasta, lego)
