At Least 4.7 million people live in food poverty in the UK

43% stated that financial concerns had an impact on their health and wellbeing

67% of people are suffering from stress due to struggling with their energy bills

59% of people have not checked their entitlement to energy saving initiatives

20% of people have experienced ill health and pain due to cold homes

31% of people struggling to pay their energy bills state they would cut back on food

Tenants who rent privately have been hit the hardest by changes to the benefit system

40% of households with income under £25,000 have not checked their entitlement to benefits

Private Tenants are at a greater risk of social isolation, harassment (from the landlord) and illegal eviction

1.36 million properties in the private-rented sector are officially described as being of ‘poor quality’
