contents How does a hydrogen fuel cell work ? Examples & pictures Advantages Disadvantages Future quiz time Question time

How does Hydrogen fuel cells work A hydrogen fuel cells works like a battery, but it uses hydrogen to make electricity. In other words,it converts hydrogen to electrical power.

Examples & pictures London is one of several European cities testing how well electric buses powered by fuel cells work

Advantages There is no pollution There is no noise Fuel cells can be built in a huge rang of sizes to suit almost anything !

Disadvantages Fuel cells rely on hydrogen, which has to be made Most of the methods we use to produce hydrogen today use a lot of non-renewable energy, but this could change. It will be some time before hydrogen is as freely available as petrol is now Hydrogen like petrol, is flammable, but there are systems we can use to allow safe use.

Future The future looks good for hydrogen fuel cells. The cost will lower and it will become just as popular as petrel and desil, and soon hydrogen fell cells will be used in every thing not just buses.

Quiz where you listening ? How does hydrogen fuel cells work? Like a battery Who many advantages were there? What machine is running on hydrogen fuel cells? buses What is the future going to be like for hydrogen fuel cells ? The future looks good
