Clear Expectations and Support 8. This snip is from a document that outlines roles and responsibilities for the principal and school team members—a good idea so that school teams step up and engage with the indicators fully. State teams also use other resources and documents to outline expectations. States have documents, for example, that identify suggested or required pacing of assessing, planning, and implementing indicators.

Clear Expectations and Support From one state’s Priority Schools-Reference Guide An MOU with a clear description of what’s expected of participants at the school and district and what they can expect from the state.
