The Armoring  Chapter 10 Wiccan Warrior  Chapter 19 Full Contact Magick copyright 2013 Kerr Cuhulain

The Armoring  This dedication, called the Armoring, marks the end of the first cycle of training, which was about:  Doing a fearless inventory of your characteristics  Experiencing energy and psychic abilities and learning how to use them  Learning about duty and service. copyright 2013 Kerr Cuhulain

The Armoring  The Armoring is a dedication to the Warrior Path. For this initiatory experience we are NOT casting a circle. The field of action for the Warrior is the mundane world, so that’s where this ritual is going to take place  The Armoring is also used as a public ritual to introduce people to the Warrior path copyright 2013 Kerr Cuhulain

Quarter Calls However you will be calling the quarters as you would in a typical Wiccan Circle copyright 2013 Kerr Cuhulain

Lesser Magickal Weapons  Mind  Athame (dagger)  Wand  Chalice/Grail  Pentacle or Stone copyright 2013 Kerr Cuhulain

“Haa!” You’ll recall this Kiai technique from the last lesson. We’re going to use it in the Armoring to charge our Magical Weapons. copyright 2013 Kerr Cuhulain

“Kiai”  Here’s the participants in the Armoring at Convocation in Detroit 2006 using this technique to charge their weapons. copyright 2013 Kerr Cuhulain

Warrior Aspects of Divinity  Choose a Warrior aspect (or aspects) of the divine to work with in this ritual.  Remember: The divine isn’t out there, it is inside you  We don’t worship:  We connect to the divine  We immerse ourselves in divinity  We entrain with divinity copyright 2013 Kerr Cuhulain

Warrior Divinity  The Gods that I’m using for the Armoring are Celtic. The slides that follow will tell you something about them. For example: The aspects of Warrior divinity that I typically work with include… copyright 2013 Kerr Cuhulain
