PREVENT BULLYING NOW!!!!!!

Bullying Hurts! Some kids know from experience that bullying hurts people. Bullying can occur when the bully gets upset and is taking out their anger on someone else. Well, guess what? There are other ways to control anger. And this boy knows how bullying feels. Sometimes events happen in life and it feels like the perfect gossip to tell your friend. This can just be thought of as a conversation. But guess what… it’s not. You’re being a bully. It is not your job to tell personal information about others. This is a form of bullying!

Don’t Be A Bystander! Believe it or not, a bystander can encourage the bully to continue bullying. All the bully needs is a crowd standing behind him to make him feel recognized and to keep going. Don’t be a bystander- step in and make a difference!

DON’T TAKE IT!!!!!!! Nothing about bullying is acceptable. Bullying is just taking out all your anger to humiliate or hurt someone else. If you see bullying happen, report the bullying to an adult, because not saying anything is like lending the bully a helping hand when the victim is the one that needs it most. So stand up and make a change; the thought that people are still bullying is unacceptable, so speak up!

Are You The Bully? Are you a bully? Well… let’s find out. Do you talk about other people in a bad way? Do you criticize or put people down? Do you make someone feel bad about themselves? Did you ever say something to or about someone? Did you ever try to hurt someone? If any of the answers to these questions were yes, then you have been a bully. That may have been in the past or it may have been right now, but whenever it was, it’s never too late to change. You can still make a difference and stop bullying! Help keep spirits up and never let them go down; you can make a difference one by one.

Tell an adult Is someone is being bullied? Do you not know what to do but want to take action, but are afraid to break it up? Well, guess what? You don’t just have to stand around. The first thing to do is tell a nearby adult what is happening. Although physically you’re not breaking up the fight, you are still helping out and doing the right thing by telling an adult. “Come here! That kid is being bullied!” Tell an adult!!!

What Do I Do? You may be the victim of a verbal bullying situation. From experience, I can tell you that the best thing to do is just walk away and pretend like the bully is not offending you. If the bully sees he/she’s not getting to you, the bully may stop. But if he/she feels like they are really bothering you, he/she will continue trying to annoy you. Just Walk Away!!!!

Get Rid Of The Bully! If you ever see bullying, help out the victim! Make sure the bully knows that he or she is not doing the right thing. Step in and make a difference because bullying isn’t another word for cool, it’s another word for cruel.

DON’T BE A BYSTANDER! LEND A HELPING HAND! MOST IMPORTANTLY, DON’T BE A BULLY! STICK UP FOR THE VICTIM! TELL AN ADULT! KNOW WHAT TO DO! LEND A HELPING HAND
