“BANG!!!...” Olive was up in her tree house playing when she was startled by the noise. So she went to the window to see what it was. When she looked out, she saw a squirrel sitting on the branch bellow staring up at her, “AWWWW, look at that cute little squirrel.”

Just then the squirrel ran up to Olive’s tree house and jumped through the window and onto Olive’s face. “Get it off me! Get it off!” Olive fell out of the tree. Then rolled all the way down the big hill that the tree was sitting on. She got up and ran all the way home screaming.

When she arrived home, she ran to the kitchen slamming the door behind her! Her mother ran in with a panicked look on her face, “What in the world are you doing Olive? What’s wrong?!?” asked her mother. “Ok,” proclaimed Olive, “I was up in my tree house minding my own business. Just then all of a sudden moment squirrel jumped out and attacked me but, I was ready so I karate chopped him in half!”

“Olive” proclaimed her mother “you sound like a true fisherman.’’ ‘’What’s that?’’ asked Olive. Her mother told her with a smile on her face, ‘’You sound like a true fisherman. Just because fisherman always over exaggerates what they catch, they say they caught a 20 foot, long fish. When they actually caught a fish that was 3 feet. Do you understand?’’ ‘’Yes mom,’’ said Olive.

When her mom was talking, Olive got a tall glass of chocolate milk and her mom didn't notice. ‘’We have new neighbors now run along and go visit them. I have already been over there. They are very nice people. You can ask and see if you can help them unpack..” “Oh, we do?” asked Olive, “Yes” replied her mother while she was turning to get a glass of milk but, all the milk was gone! “Olive what happened to all the milk?” but, by the time she asked, Olive was already gone out the front door and to the neighbors house.

When Olive arrived at her neighbors house she saw a girl who opened the door. “Hello?” Olive said. “May I come in?” “Ummmm… yea, sure come on in” “I’m Olive, what's your name My name is…Ava. ‘’Where did you move here from?” asked Olive? “I’m from… India.’’ said Ava.

At her neighbor’s house, they were really busy moving in, so she asked if she could help. Without them having time to answer she started unpacking, Olive found a squirrel in a cage, since the incident she had in the tree house she dropped the cage, the door open and the squirrel come out and then ran up into her pants leg, Then causing Olive to scream ‘’ AHHHHHHHHHH,’’

She then turned around ran straight for the door as fast as she could. Shaking her pants, jumping, and everything else. Eventually, the squirrel ran out, and she ran home, slamming the door shut behind her. Out of breath then, her mom ran into the living room and asked, ‘’ What in the world is wrong with you, Olive?’’ Olive then said, ‘’The squirrel, the squirrel…’’ and went to her room and laid down on her bed and stared at the ceiling.

She got off her bed and went to the window to look out. Then she saw her neighbor walking down the street with her pet squirrel on a leash. It had on pink booties and a tutu like the ones you put on dogs. “How weird those people are’’ she thought,’’ first they keep it in a cage then in a tutu”! “I wish I could have a pet squirrel too, it’s not fair”. Then the squirrel looked at her. Olive gasped! All she could see in the face of the squirrel was… bug eyes that were lime green, they glared at her.

Olive ran to her bed faster than lightning and was under the covers in less-than a second, and thought to her self… ‘’how can a squirrel have lime- green eyes?’’ She finally went to ask her mom if she could get a pet but, not a dumb squirrel with lime-green eyes. Maybe with hot-pink eyes instead, or a gecko with hot pink eyes Olive’s mom butted in and said, ‘’a squirrel… with lime-green eyes? Have you lost your mind? there is no such thing as a squirrel or a gecko with lime-green eyes or hot-pink! Also even if there was you are not going to get a pet squirrel or gecko.’’

And after, supper she went to bed and dreamed about that stupid little squirrel and a gecko. If she could get one tomorrow instead, and which one would she get or maybe even if she could get some chickens maybe some baby chicks with: lime green and hot pink eyes.
