Matching Pairs Memory Game A resource easily adapted for any subject and topic, this is a Maths example but there is a template further on for you to make your own! Instructions for Game use: Split the class in to two teams (Boys vs Girls maybe?) One group selects two squares If they don’t match a correct answer up with a correct question then click on the small red squares on the corner of each of them tiles and they should cover back up. If they do match a correct answer up with a correct question give that team a point and leave the squares uncovered (don’t click on the red squares, just carry on and choose the next two squares). Keep a track of which team has the most correct pairs and award that team a reward. NB: If you wanted you could show all the answers first, and then cover them up and continue playing from there.

247 x x x 65 x 6 7 x x 8 8 x x x 8 3 x 5 Match answers with questions, the team who find most pairs wins!!

Template Instructions: Write your questions in the Question squares on slide 5, making sure you have the correct matching questions and answers Then Select all the squares in Slide 5 and copy them into Slide 4. Then click on ‘Format’ and ‘Send to the Back’. Align the Question squares so they are hidden by the pink squares. All you need to do then is ‘Save As’ and call it whatever you want. Slide 4 will be the one with your puzzle on it.
