Multimedia Design Technology This 750 hour program prepares students for careers in digital media, new media, and multimedia positions.

Multimedia Design Technology Introduction to Computers (150 hrs.) Prerequisite for all programs This introductory course will train students in the basic skills required to operate a personal computer. This course provides introduction to users and newcomers to the new technological world we live in today. The course includes Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office applications, and Keyboarding. Since this is an introductory course, no computer skills are needed prior to admission.

Multimedia I Multimedia Production Assistant This class can be taken concurrently with the BTE Core Students will acquire knowledge of presentation production, presentation materials and presentation marketing mediums. Produce a presentation that includes music, animation, and digital photography and present it using a projection system. Students will learn and understand graphic and other file formats (e.g., EPS, TIFF, JPEG, ASCII, MPEG, MIDI, AVI, WAV) and image size when scanning and saving files for use in different presentation types (web, computer, print, etc.). Multimedia I Multimedia Junior Designer This course can be taken after New Media I or concurrently with it In this course students will attain proficiency in web page design applicable to the WWW, understand HTML commands, compare WYSIWG editors to non-WYSIWG coding, interpret HTML coding on an existing web page and use HTML commands to write a Web page. Students will create Web pages for publication, edit images and photographs for web pages using digital imaging software, create, edit and integrate animation files into a Web page and create and incorporate forms in a web page.
