6 Connections There must be an network connected receiver (Example: Home plug must be connected to an open port on router and the other to an Ethernet connection on the HR2x or R22.) From the receiver’s System Test Screen, verify Network setting displays “Connected” Note: The receiver must have 0x286 software or greater to take advantage of any new functionality.

8 Computer Requirements The customer’s personal computer must meet the following minimum requirements: –Operation System Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsoft Windows XP. Only supports Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed –Software The DIRECTV2PC application –Processor Dual or quad core CPU –System Memory (RAM) 512 MB (Minimum). 1 GB or more recommended –Video Ram 512 MB graphics card memory, 1 GB or more recommended –Open port on Router or Hub The customer’s personal computer must meet the following minimum requirements: –Operation System Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsoft Windows XP. 9 Computer Requirements The customer will go through a 4 step process

10 Computer Setup The customer will download a DIRECTV2PC Playback Advisor application that will inspect the PC and summarize each system requirement with a either a “pass,” “upgrade recommended,” or “No”
