Definitions Water Words ● Flood /fl ʌ d/: to cover with water ● Flow /flə ʊ /: to move easily in one direction ● Pour /p ɔː r/: to cause to flow into or out of something ● Seep /si ː p/: to move out of or through something permeable ● Trickle / ˈ tr ɪ k.l ̩ /: to flow slowly in a thin line e.g. a small flow from a tap
